Meet the neighbs: National Night Out is tomorrow, Aug. 2 starting at 5:30 p.m. The free movie is scheduled to begin at 6:45.
National Night Out (America’s Night Out Against Crime) is a community-police awareness event held the first Tuesday in August by communities all over America. In partnership with local law enforcement members, businesses and community organizations, the local event is directed by the South Norfolk Neighborhood Watch to promote neighborhood safety and improve the quality of life in our neighborhood with a fun-filled evening for kids and families.
There will be live music, a cook-out, a bounce house and face painting for the kids, plus demonstrations promoting health and safety. Then there’s our special attraction, “Movie Night” where kids and families watch a popular movie under the stars in our beautiful park.
Join hundreds of families from all over the region and celebrate the community of South Norfolk with pride.
