This is side one of the Phoenix Awards invitation from ForKids.
The entire community of South Norfolk has been named 2017 Children’s Champion by ForKids, South Norfolk’s newest corporate neighbor and Virginia’s largest provider of services to homeless kids and families, as part of the organization’s annual Phoenix Awards promoting positive social change.
There will be an awards luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Salvation Army Kroc Center, 1401 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, and YOU are invited to attend. Attendees may choose from three kids’ style box lunch sandwiches with applesauce, chips and a cookie: turkey on wheat, tuna on white or peanut butter and jelly on white.
