Community leaders have organized a Community Clean-up Day in South Norfolk from 8 to noon on April 6.
You may work with a group in community spots as assigned, or you may work on your own in your own yard, or street or block.
Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Gateway Community Church across from the Post Office on Poindexter for coffee, donuts, materials and assignments. Then the clean-up begins at 8 a.m.
After the clean-up ends at noon, the South Norfolk Ruritans will serve a free barbecue lunch for volunteers at Elizabeth River Park.
